The Vertus CS1000 is a professional array designed for musicians seeking a compact, easily transportable, modular PA system that's ready to use in minutes, yet offers uncompromising quality. It can also integrate elegantly and unobtrusively into any environment and installation requiring high-quality sound and controlled directional characteristics. The subwoofer's bass-reflex cabinet features a 12" long-throw speaker, a two-channel Class-D amplifier module, and a compartment for the suspension pole and satellite speaker. The passive birch plywood satellite speaker is connected to the sub via a supplied Speakon cable. It contains six 3" full-range neodymium speakers. The compact column allows for 110° horizontal dispersion. In the vertical plane, the array of 6 speakers mechanically arranged in the panel to form a j-array allows for a vertical dispersion of 30° (+10°/-20°). The subwoofer is equipped with an aluminum handle with a rubber insert for a comfortable grip, using which it is possible to transport the entire system consisting of subwoofer, satellite, support poles, joint and cables for unparalleled convenience. The die-cast aluminum, fanless amplifier module has a 600W LF channel and a 400W HF channel in high-efficiency Class-D and equipped with a switching power supply. The audio signal processing is entirely digital via DSP and ultra-low noise converters. Equipped with 8 equalization presets, it allows for the appropriate sound for any usage condition. The satellite volume can be adjusted, relative to that of the subwoofer, from -4.5 to +5 in 8 steps. A selectable HPF filter allows you to cut the subwoofer's excessively low frequencies which could be annoying in certain conditions (resonant stages, environments with difficult acoustics, etc.).
