The Polar column system offers a complete, customized audio solution for discerning musicians, DJs, entertainers, corporate presentations, and schools. Compared to other models in its class, the Polar stands out for its impressive sound experience, right down to the lowest bass, as well as its extremely comprehensive range of features, including a built-in mixer and Bluetooth 5.
The high-quality speaker components deliver exceptionally transparent and natural sound from the deepest bass to the finest highs. This ensures an XXL sound experience in every scenario, from discreet background music during dinner to the energetic climax of the event.
The Polar 8 column element features powerful 2.5" neodymium speakers with a 1" voice coil in a curved column arrangement. Together with the high-performance bass driver in a low-resonance metal-reinforced plastic enclosure and the 1200-watt Class D power amplifier, (peak), the system delivers powerful, uniform sound and superior power reserves.
The 24-bit DSP in Polar 10 and Polar 12 delivers a homogeneous, low-distortion sound experience across all frequency ranges. The combination of a 1" CD horn, a high-performance midrange driver, and a specially developed long-throw bass driver in a perfectly acoustically dimensioned wooden cabinet is driven by a generous 2000-watt power amplifier.
With its wide 120° projection pattern and low tendency to feedback, Polar is ideal for placement on a stage or in a room. In many cases, an additional stage monitor is not necessary at all. Polar can be installed without the lower column segment, making it easy to adjust the height from which the sound is emitted, for example, when used on a raised stage. The gradually decreasing volume level ensures a punchy sound pressure on the dance floor, a pleasantly full sound in the front rows, and a reduced volume suitable for conversation in the back of the room.
When placed on the floor, the Polar subwoofer, spacer, and mid/high unit combine to create the ideal vertical orientation for both standing and seated audiences. When mounted on a stage, it can be positioned at the ideal height without the need for a spacer.
The integrated multi-channel mixer offers numerous connections for a wide range of application scenarios: two channels for microphone or line signals and an Aux channel for pre-recorded music. The Polar 10 and 12 also have a dedicated instrument channel (e.g., for an acoustic guitar).
All Polar models receive audio streams wirelessly, with Bluetooth 5 providing greater range and a more reliable connection than previous Bluetooth versions.
The system comes with a padded carrying bag for the column elements and a protective, padded cover for the system's subwoofer.
